It is used to set and check RF status of mobile network. In mobile communication industry it is referred as engineering mode, field test display or net monitor.The hidden menu can be activated by entering secret code in phone keypad in most of the phone. However, Samsung disabled the keypad support in some models such as Galaxy S III LTE and Galaxy Note II LTE.
